Tyson Halsey CFAHalsey brings 30 years investment experience, 14 years Master Limited Partnership investment experience, and nearly a decade of quantitative investment strategy to Income Growth Advisors, LLC (IGA).

Halsey utilizes his research analysis and investment experience to manage portfolios at IGA. He has worked at leading investment firms Merrill Lynch, Alex Brown and Deutsche Bank in the 1990s as a financial consultant and institutional broker. Halsey has worked with high net worth corporate executives in Silicon Valley and New York, and worked in the Corporate Executive Services Group at Deutsche Bank Alex. Brown.

In 1993 Halsey was conferred the CFA designation and has been a member of the New York Society of Security Analysts for over a decade. Halsey worked in New York City for over two decades, established Halsey Advisory and Management, LLC, and worked with Brimberg & Company in Rockefeller Center. His experience has provided unique exposure to some of the most prominent investment managers in the world including: David Einhorn, John Paulson, Leon Cooperman, and Hans Utsch. Halsey has become a student of quantitative analysis, first emulating risk adjusted momentum ETF models then embracing quantitative modeling and studying practical applications of quantitative models.

Halsey won the USA Today/CNBC National Investment Challenge in the first quarter of 1992 in the options division. He traded a paper portfolio up 1048% in options on biotechnology stocks. Halsey graduated from Duke University in 1983 with a economics major.

Halsey is married with three children and lives on Daniel Island, South Carolina.
